What about forking the Open
States<https://github.com/sunlightlabs/openstates/>,
Open Congress <https://github.com/sunlightlabs/opencongress>, or Open
Parliament (Canada) <https://github.com/rhymeswithcycle/openparliament>repos?

Those are the ones that come to mind currently.
