Hey guys,

I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to inform you all that the
winners of the Data Journalism Awards will be announced tonight at the GEN
NEWS! Summit in Paris. The announcement will take place at 19:00 CET and
you are able to watch the live coverage of the event
Secondly, in case you missed it, some of you may want to check out this
DataDrivenJournalism.net called, "Introduction to open-source GIS tools for
journalists". The article gives you some useful information, so it is worth
taking a look at. Finally, don't forget that the Data.Journalism!
conference and workshop in Vienna is coming up in just two weeks. If you
haven't signed up already, or know someone that may want to go, please
visit the website<http://datadrivenjournalism.net/events/Data.Journalism_-_conference_and_workshop_in_Vienna>
more information and to sign up.

That's it for today. Thanks for your time. I hope you have a wonderful rest
of your day :-)

PS Don't forget to use the #ddj hashtag when on Twitter. This will allow
you to stay better connected with @ddjournalism and will also help you
follow the DDJ conversation.
