Dear colleagues,
We are emailing you specifically, as experts in the field of Open
Government, because we would particularly appreciate your suggestions
and comments on the latest version of the Open Government Standards
which Access Info Europe has been developing over the past year, in
consultation with many of you.
If we as civil society have agreed standards on open government, we can
use to evaluate the OGP Action Plans and to campaign for concrete
improvements in the areas of transparency, accountability and
participation.
Please send us your comments on the standards which will be discussed at
the OGP London Conference on 31 October -- 1 November 2013.
We are also seeking national CSOs partners to be part of the OGS Network
(see the Network section of the Open Government Standards
<http://www.opengovstandards.org/blog/open-government-standards-public-consultation/>
website), to campaign for the standards to be applied at the national
level.
You can read the standards here:
www.opengovstandards.org/blog/debating-the-standards
<http://www.opengovstandards.org/blog/debating-the-standards>. Email us
at contact en opengovstandards.org <mailto:contact en opengovstandards.org>
with comments and suggestions.
We look forward to your comments
Best
Vicky
