I thought this recent news about the Knowledge for All project might
be of interest:

There seem to be an increasing amount of interest in bibliographic
information on the web, such as the beginnings of a 'Citation Commons'
being promoted by JISC and SURF?

It would be great if we could all somehow work together on this. But
perhaps it would be better to all share data in similar ways and let a
thousand distributed, bibliographic flowers bloom?
