[open-bibliography] Bibsoup - can it handle large files?

I was interested in experimenting with BibSoup, but I'm having trouble
with the file upload system.

I tried uploading a collection from my citeulike library:
http://www.citeulike.org/user/rossmounce/tag/morphophylogeny

1000+ articles, which I exported to a .bib file for re-uploading to BibSoup.
This file is 2.2Mb and basically I get an error message every time I
try to upload the file.

Is it just me and my (home) internet connection? Any ideas?
