Hi,
The new Index site visualises census data on map:
http://index.okfn.org <http://index.okfn.org/>
A few things will need to be changed for out-of-the-box compatibility with any Open Data Census (i.e.: city censuses) but it is most of the way there.
The new Index code also provides an export function to get snapshots of survey data; alternatively, you can get the raw data straight out of the spreadsheet for your local instance.
