Dear Friends & Colleagues:

Transparency is key to making sure local people can make the most of
US foreign aid.  In Indonesia, USAID is working with local governments
to provide information about Indonesia's national budget, so people
know what improvements to schools, roads, and hospitals have been
promised in their districts.

Projects like these are just a beginning. US aid transparency efforts
should go further, and make information about our own aid transparent
and accessible.

Follow this link to learn more about how towns across Indonesia are
taking action with help from USAID, and how their transparency, and
ours, will make for more effective US foreign aid.
