[open-development] Open Knowledge Conference (OKCon) 2011: Call for Participation & Proposals

Hi Tim,

I¹m open to suggesting a development strand - as it is, we come under "Open
Law, Society and Democracy":

http://okcon.org/2011/cfp/

I'm happy with this fit philosophically as aid and development are a
relatively small part of the broader open government and public sector data
families. However, if we get a flurry of contribution, it would be worth
breaking it out.

I also agree that it's worth taking the open data / knowledge conversation
to development audiences.

Does anybody have suggestions for aid/development gatherings where we could
add something with our work on open data and knowledge?

Thanks,

Tariq
