Hi All,

[Semi cross-posted with OpenSpending list - some development-list
specials added for your feedback!]

After lots of hard work from Publish What You Fund, the Uganda Aid
visualisation for 2003 - 2006 using OpenSpending was released last
Friday and featured in the Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/global-development/poverty-matters/2011/nov/25/uganda-aid-confusion-analyse-spending?newsfeed=true

There are extracts from the piece featured on the OpenSpending blog:

http://blog.openspending.org/2011/11/28/openspending-visualisations-featured-in-the-guardian/

In the build up to the Busan aid effectiveness meeting: All parties
involved would be very keen for your feedback on the work that is
going on in this area. There is a comments forum in the Guardian blog
post and the OpenSpending team would be keen to hear your thoughts on
the visualisation i.e. is it effective as a tool to come to meaningful
conclusions about the way aid data is spent?

Thanks very much,

Lucy
