You absolutely can download raw data,
in the "Grid" visualization: http://landportal.info/landmatrix/get-the-detail/by-target-region
you can download entire DB as .csv, as well as single filtered parts.

Right now the DB is static, but in the following months it will be integrated in ZOHO and leverage their APIs to update dynamically. The data will, of course, stay open.

By the way, all the interactive visualizations on the website pull data directly from the DB and are standards-based JS, HTML and CSS.
