[open-development] Kabissa Open Data Directory for Africa

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note before I head over to #SocEnt this morning. There is a
team (myself, Umar Shavurov, Steve Zitkovich) working on the Kabissa Open
Data Directory with a view to developing a business plan that we can pitch
tomorrow at 6pm PST.

We've been updating the google doc a bit and will be digging into it when
we meet at 9am PST in a few hours. If you are available to pitch in please

Thank you whoever put the awesome info about IATI and drupal into the doc -
that is really very important to know. We won't be actually building
anything this weekend but it's good to know!

The part of this that we need to tackle first off is what pain point does
the Kabissa Open Directory alleviate, and for whom? What is the product (or
products) that we can build a business case around and who would "pay for
this yesterday" (in the jargon of the #SocEnt organizers...).
