Global Partnership for Social Accountability, Governance Global Practice
and Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice of the World Bank,
with Results for Development Institute invite you to "Power, Participation,
and Politics in the Health Sector: The Social Accountability Angle" on
Wednesday, 22 October from 12:30 - 2:00 pm (EST) in Washington, D.C.  A
live webcast of the event will also be available. The event will focus on
social accountability approaches as one potential solution to problems with
service delivery. Experiences will be shared from the first phase of the
Transparency for Development initiative, a mixed-method multicountry
project that seeks to answer the questions of whether community-led
transparency and accountability initiatives can improve health outcomes –
and in what context.
