Hello Open Education Entusiasts
Following good examples from others I would like to introduce myself
briefly as well.
My name is Igor Lesko. Originally, I come from Slovakia but I have been
living in South Africa for the past 10 years. I work for the OpenCourseWare
Consortium (http://www.ocwconsortium.org/) and I am one of the project
managers on the project *OpenCourseWare in the European Higher Education
Context: How to make use of its full potential for virtual mobility*:
http://www.opencourseware.eu/
My main interests are: OER, OER business and sustainability models,
widening/increasing access to education through open education (OE),
certification/validation of learning through OE & open (OER) policies.
I am also a PhD candidate at OU NL under the Global Graduate OER Network (
portal.ou.nl/en/web/go-gn) focusing on the role/impact of IGOs on
governmental OER policies/schemes.
Kind Regards
Igor
