You might be interested in a blog post I wrote about OER Myths at the start of the UK Open Educational Resources Programme run by Jisc and the Higher Education Academy between 2009 and 2012, http://blogs.cetis.ac.uk/lmc/2009/05/20/oer-programme-myths/ This blog post is over five years old now, but I think some of these myths are still current.
