Clint Lalonde posted about a new report into OEP in BC - the story of how this came about and the link to the report is here: http://clintlalonde.net/2016/01/19/on-weak-ties-and-faculty-oer-research/.  Clint mentions the power of 'weak ties' such as knowing people through Twitter which brings me on quite neatly to my next item. Bonnie Stewart from UPEI in Canada was at the LSE yesterday as part of their NetworkEd series  and gave a fascinating talk on networked scholarly practice, particularly 'academic Twitter', with a good dose of Bowie.
