Dear all,

As some of you might know, the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science
and Sport which ran the OER Congress, was awarded with a European
project that tries to align policy, research and technology in OER, see
here https://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/211074_en.html and
https://www.x5gon.org/.

We don't regard this as a project really, but more as a long term
commitment, as it will deliver the first building blocks for a global
open infrastructure to easily connect all OER sites/siloses and provide
a digestion pipeline based on artificial intelligence algorithms. It
will result in providing technology services benefiting teachers,
learners, researchers, policy makers and technologists.

The Ministry and the partners are looking for information (reports, data
sets, etc.) that could give us a hint on the existing OER market and its
structure, including the prevailing trends in consumption, technology,
business models (for-profit and not-for-profit), market status,
competitors, characteristics and trends as well as market size and
revenue models (direct or indirect).

Does anyone know if there is anything out there on this topic?

We would welcome any suggestions.

best,
  Davor
