[open-energy] DECC open data

Dear friends

Last week there was finally a meeting with officials at the dept of Energy
and Climate Change about the forthcoming release of the CRC non domestic
emissions surveys as open data (3000 public and private organisations). I
have written about it here before so I wont go into detail. The meeting
seemed very positive and will hopefully lead to more collaborations and data
releases that build a detailed picture of energy usage in UK.

Energy data specialists Carboncalculated have offered to build an API that
could be used by people in this list.
