[OpenGLAM] Restyling the Open Collections area on the GLAM site

Hi everybody,

Really nice to see this is taken forward, and well needed.
What I think is good to keep in mind is that we are basically discussion
two types of 'Open Collections'.
One is an institution that offers their own collection under an open
license or PD mark. The other is 'aggregators' of open collections such as
Open Cultuur Data, the PD review, Europeana Labs, and perhaps even entire
Europeana can be considered an Open Collection if you use the right
filters.

Before we go into software, I think we should discuss some of these basics
and how we want to deal with it. I for example do not think it is feasible
and useful if we go into these aggregators and pick out the open
collections to copy to the OpenGLAM site. Sounds like duplication of work
which is too much for a volunteer led effort (but maybe I am wrong here).

To go forward with this, shall we schedule a Skype/Hangout meeting with the
people interested? Perhaps we can dedicate the next OpenGLAM members call
at the end of the month to this topic?

Cheers,

Joris
