[OpenGLAM] Europeana Challenge offers share of €25,000 for creative projects reusing open GLAM data

Hi all

Some good openGLAM news for a Friday afternoon! We've just launched a challenge for anyone who can creatively re-use content accessible through Europeana to build a sustainable product or service. The even better news is that we have €25,000 available to share between up to three winners, to help get them started building it.

Further info below, and a link to the details. If you can also pass this on through your own networks we'd be hugely appreciative. There's even a pre-prepared tweet!

Of course if you have any questions then just drop me a note (and I'm also pleased to say it's open to entries outside of the EU).

First Europeana Challenge 2016

Calling all creative thinkers! From now until 29 February, Europeana are asking you to submit your designs for fantastic products and services which make the most of Europe's rich digital cultural heritage, on the topics of First World War, Art & Design and Europe’s Music Heritage. There's a reward of up to €25,000 euros on offer to help you start to build your product or service.
