British Columbia is beginning to buzz with innovative technology and
civic engagement programmes, and a number of governments throughout the
province have already launched open government policies or projects.
Open Gov West British Columbia (OGWBC) is a one-day conference designed
to catalyze this growth of open government work, showcase the exciting
and challenging work going on across the province, Canada and elsewhere,
and bring members of government, technology, and citizen groups together
to help create the future of open government work in the province.
Held in Victoria at the University of Victoria, Open Gov West BC brings
leaders at all levels together to facilitate collaboration and share
best practices across open government initiatives.
We are still looking for a few speakers to give "lightning" (5 minutes,
20 slides) talks
