I've been doing a little bit of thinking about ways the group's can continue
to build the open government data movement. I increasingly feel that the
discourse needs to move from "why" to "how". Many people have been sold on
open data, but are finding themselves stuck on how to implement it. That
pathway needs to be easier.

I've drafted a set of notes at okfnpad.org[0].

Have any members of this list participated in an open data competition? It
would be great to interview software developers and organisers of past open
government data competitions. There is quite a bit of static content at
opengovernmentdata.org, but only a small deal of human contact. Let's work
to improve that.

Regards,
