*Registration for the OGP Summit and Civil Society Day – **DEADLINE
September 27*

First, the expression of interest (or pre-registration) for joining the *OGP
Summit* *closes this Friday 27 September*. Those who will have registered
by then will have priority for getting access to the Summit. There are
400-500 places for non-government actors, which sounds like a lot but with
60 member countries and more to follow its really not that much. Better not
to wait and *register* now. The programme in draft can be found *here*.

After the 27th registered participants will receive the final registration
link in batches, using the same priority rules we used for allocating
travel support. Hopefully the capacity of the Summit will be big enough for
all that are seriously interested in attending! For people that will not
have registered by the coming Friday there will still be a mini-window open
for those that really need to be there, but the easiest way is to register
this week.

On the *registration page* you can also register for the OGP Civil Society
Day, for which you can find the draft agenda *online*. This event
on October 30 at the University of London Union has a maximum capacity for
around 500 people. Civil Society Day will focus on  on the conversations we
need to have as civil society amongst ourselves in order to prepare for the
Summit and strengthen the national OGP processes down the line.

*Annual OGP Civil Society Survey online*

I would like to invite all civil society actors  to fill in the *OGP Civil
Society Survey** 2013*. The Survey is

a temperature check of your engagement with OGP, and the health of the
initiative as a whole. Your prompt response will give us a snapshot of the
OGP players and insights into year 2 experiences at the national level. It
will also provide us with the information needed to improve communications
within the OGP community and to figure out what is needed to make OGP a
success (and what you can bring to the community).

The Survey is available in Spanish and English. Last year we had over 100
responses and I hope to get at least as many this year.

The results will be announced at the *OGP Civil Society Day* (University of
London Union, October 30)

Could I ask you to use your media channels, whether e-mail lists, twitter,
newsletters or websites, to get these two messages out? If there are
specific people that you feel need to know this, feel very welcome to pass
on the message. It would be a real shame if key colleagues would miss
either opportunity because they were unaware!

para mejorar la comunicación con la comunidad OGP y para definir qué se
