The World Bank Group, in collaboration with the Office of the UN Secretary
General’s Envoy for Youth, will host its second annual Youth Summit on
Tuesday, October 7 from 9:00am-6:00pm at the International Finance
Corporation (IFC) Auditorium in Washington, DC. This year’s Summit, with
the theme *“The Need for Open and Responsive Governments,”* will feature
high-level plenary sessions and tailored workshops on the three sub-themes
of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. More than 400 young
civil society and NGO leaders, students, government officials, technical
experts and practitioners from around the globe are expected to participate
in person, via World Bank Live
<http://live.worldbank.org/wbg-youth-summit-2014>, or through video
connections with select World Bank Country Offices.
