Thanks Daniel! Much appreciated!!
I'd love to participate, but my main job is to push the MEPs I'm working for, so I would prefer to forward an invitation to present the "EP transparency package" to 1) the MEPs in my group and 2) the patrons of EPFSUG.
If they cannot make it, they can pass on the invitation as they see fit.
Is that a workable approach?
Maybe you can let me know off list? (as you see fit)
Best regards.

Hi Erik,
good point. I agree having a session on this would decently add. Two issues to solve: a) we are very late in the game but we could still try to get a slot. b) who would do it? You, Erik?
If there is a definite "yes, lets do it" I would try to to find out if there is any chance to sneak in.
All the best
Daniel

Hello,
I wonder if there will be anyone talking about at4am+pippi+pt+pm at OKF? Or parts of that EU transparency package?
This would be particularly important since the upcoming decision on at4am opens up for integration between an EP-native application and Pippi Longstrings, Par Track and Political Memory etc.
Each of us is of course most aware about the projects we and our friends are involved in, but I would really like to see someone talk about the projects that have been driving digital activism at the EU level for quite some time now.
I blogged about it here:
Taking “utmost transparency” to the next level – at4am for all!
http://blog.okfn.org/2012/06/27/taking-utmost-transparency-to-the-next-level-at4am-for-all/
and there has been meetings with EPFSUG on the matter:
The hacker perspective on lawmaking
http://epfsug.eu/blog-entry/hacker-perspective-lawmaking
The at4am decision has even been pushed by FSFE:
Helping the European Parliament to release its own Free Software
https://fsfe.org/news/nl/nl-201208.en.html
I might be a bit EU centric since I work in the EP, but I am sure OKF organisers would agree that what happens in the EP matters more to more people than what many people might know (or like).
Best regards.
