this is a reminder for the collection of hosting options

and for participating to the telco planned for Wednesday, January 22, 13:00
CET, to decide by vote. We will announce the Hangouts link on Jan 21st. In
case you're not available on January 22, but would like to participate in
the vote, please email Bettina and me (or the mailing list) on January
21st, with "VOTE" in the subject line. Independently from the vote, feel
free to express your opinion or to suggest alternatives any time.

PS: I am doing a backup of all public OWLG data on GitHub (
https://github.com/open-linguistics/, feel free to contribute), incl. the
mail archives, and I realized in that context that the original
announcement seems to have failed to be delivered. I didn't get a bounce,
so I guess it might just indicate that the OKF services are becoming
increasingly unstable. I hope this one gets through. Unfortunately, we
cannot postpone the schedule as have only 10 days to act now. Please join.

Dear list members,

as for migrating the OWLG mailing list, we have have explored several
options. The feedback we got from those who responded offlist was a
preference to maintain a mailing list. We collected the current hosting
options under

.
Unfortunately, the Linguist List doesn't seem to be an option anymore,
which is why we extended the search for other alternatives beyond our
original schedule.

In case you are aware of other options, please add them to this list until
January 20th, and they will be given full consideration.

We would suggest to have a brief telco on Wednesday, January 22, 13:00
