[Open-science-nl] databaserechten in Nederland (was: Content mining, database rights and copyright)

Hoi allen,

hieronder een post van Jenny over een interessante discussie over
databaserechten in relate tot het halen van informatie uit literatuur,
vooral als dit niet met de hand gedaan wordt.

Omdat dit in Europa in elk land anders is, vraag ik me af welke
ontwikkelingen hieromtrent in Nederland zijn.

Bijvoorbeeld, als wij (als Nederlanders) content mining ontwikkelen,
maar die code in een land draaien waar dat geen probleem is (bv
Engeland!), kunnen wij die data dan in een Nederlandse database
beschikbaar maken (bv een database die we samen beheren in een Open
project)?

copyright and database rights on mining databases and how this is
affected by copyright exemptions for research, such as the one
recently enacted in the UK.
