[open-science] Why textmining matters

Peter: your recent post on the list reminded me that it would be great
to also have a guest blog post on blog.okfn.org from you/others on:

  (i) what text mining is
  (ii) its role within scientific research, what it lets us do, etc
  (iii) rights issues with text-mining
  (iv) what we can do to make text-mining possible/easier (e.g. open
licenses, ...)

What do you think? I think this would be really useful - especially
for non-scientists, or others who don't know about this.
