[open-science] Collaborative Citizen Science Hub?

agreed there's a bunch out there already, although scistarter does come
across as being oriented mostly towards children. it would be awesome to
see more of an adult (and/or age-agnostic) offering as well. what about
chatting to them about extending the site?
