The COS has started another contest over at 99designs for badges that
journals can use to reward authors that have employed open practices. You
can find the contest and the details for these badges here:
If you have feedback about designs you like and dislike, please email it to
me at melissa at centerforopenscience.org (note the number of the design for
reference). Designs will continue to roll in over the next three days for
the first phase. As they do, you can update your preferences and
suggestions. After the first phase, then we will select a set of finalist
designers, and they will provide additional designs for consideration. The
contest will conclude at the end of next week.
More details about the context of earning and implementing the badges will
be circulated soon.
