Hey all,

I got invited to write a blog post on simple, practical steps towards open
scholarship:
http://blogs.lse.ac.uk/impactofsocialsciences/2013/05/24/easy-steps-towards-open-scholarship/

It isn't my usual style, it's a softer approach - I don't once mention
licencing issues (even though I know this is key if we want truly *open*
research). But hopefully it'll reach a different kind of audience hitherto
less impressed by the benefits of openness.

...with a combination of preprint & postprint postings, it's easy to make
your research freely available
