Hi OpenScience folks,

We are busy preparing our upcoming DNAdigest wiki
editathon<http://dnadigest.org/event/wiki-editathon/>
to put more of our collective know-how into the public domain. We want to
make it easy to find information about genetics data sharing and best
practices for managing genetic research data. This touches on many topics
such as: data consent, data format standards, data access committees
(DACs), suitable repositories and any other items related to good practice
that you would like to share with the rest of the community.

You can join our preparation already by contributing your thoughts and
questions that you would like to see answered on this wikieditathon
hackpad<https://dnadigest.hackpad.com/ep/group/ukc8DD1mQAE>
.

*When: May 29th from 5:30pm Where: with us in London or anywhere you
connect to the internet*
Please sign up for the event through our eventbrite page if you plan to
participate in person <http://dnadigestedit.eventbrite.co.uk/> at our
London location. By signing up we can make sure that we will be ordering
enough pizzas for everybody ;)

Big thanks to our sponsors of this event:
Wikipedia<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page>
 and AddGene.org <http://addgene.org/>

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Cheers,

-Fiona-

“Excellence can be achieved, if we:
Care more than others think is wise,
Risk more than others think is safe,
Dream more than others think is practical,
Expect more than others think is possible.”
