Dear list members,
OpenAIRE is pleased to invite you to an international workshop focusing on the topic of measuring Open Access and its impact, to take place in Oslo, Norway, on Tuesday the 14th of February 2017. The event is free of charge and open to everyone.
Work on international standardisation of statistics and indicators for measuring Open Access is still in its early stages of development. The same goes for mapping and measuring the impact of Open Access on both the research community and society at large. Aiming to make a contribution towards determining the current state of affairs, the OpenAIRE workshop "Impact and Measurement of Open Access" hopes to provide both meaningful insights and a valuable meeting place.
Invited speakers are Crossref, the European Research Council (ERC), Knowledge Exchange and many others. One aim of the workshop is to bring together a wide variety of stakeholder groups. E.g. research performing institutions, funders, publishers, research administrators, infrastructure providers, etc.
The workshop is open to everyone interested and free of charge, however registration is mandatory. To attend, please register at: https://nettskjema.uio.no/answer/openaire-feb-2017-event.html
The venue is Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) in downtown Oslo: https://goo.gl/maps/AuT8P4VEcBL2
