Dear all,

The Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at TU Delft along with the Delft Energy Initiative, are organizing an international ‘Energy Data Hackathon’ on 24th -25th April 2014, on the theme Electrifying Africa. It will be a fun, competitive event featuring international groups of talented advanced (MSc and PhD) students working intensely over a period of 2 days to extract insights from massive sets of energy, demographic and economic data. Working in parallel, groups will apply a range of data analysis and computer modeling techniques, seeking to uncover patterns and develop innovative data-driven solutions to an important energy problem. Interested in energy and sustainability? Interested in data analysis or modeling/simulation? This event is for you. You are more than welcome to join us either as stakeholders or as student participants. Further details of the event and application are in the link below. We have limited numbers of funding available for highly motivated international students.

If you are interested to contribute as a stakeholder, please get in touch with us through email or phone below.

We are looking forward to see you in Delft in April.
