The Institute for Transport Studies is currently recruiting academic fellowships with tenure track to Associate Professor. Please feel free to circulate this to anyone in your networks who may be interested.

Anyone who would like to apply for a fellowship in an area outside the three broad areas in the advert below (for example, a fellowship in ‘new big data’ in Transport, social media in transport, user-generated content and new information paradigms, new mobility services/incentives schemes, governance of big data in transport etc), can contact myself (Susan Grant-Muller) to discuss informal enquires or the technical area/topic proposals s.m.grant-muller at its.leeds.ac.uk. Any successful applicants in these broad areas would have the opportunity to be linked to the new £7m+ ESRC funded ‘Big Data’ centre at Leeds.

Alternatively, please contact the Director of Research, Dr Karen Lucas, K.Lucas at leeds.ac.uk

The closing date for applications for Academic Fellowships in this round is 16th November 2014.

Academic Fellowships leading to Associate Professor
The University of Leeds’ biggest ever recruitment of academic researchers includes exciting new opportunities to join the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS).

The University of Leeds is recruiting up to 250 exceptional early career academics to tenure track equivalent Academic Fellowships over the next three years
http://250greatminds.leeds.ac.uk. Whether you are looking to establish your academic career as a new fellow, or already hold an existing funded fellowship and wish to bring it to the University of Leeds, we want to hear from you.
The new Fellowships are 5-year roles, which then convert to permanent positions as Associate Professor. Applications are invited to three of ITS’ core themes, but we also welcome informal enquiries (via ITS' Director of Research) from those with the skills and potential to secure a Fellowship in other thematic areas http://www.its.leeds.ac.uk/about/jobs/
