[OpenDesign] Hello all!

Hi all, 

With this email I would like to introduce myself in this group. My name is Astrid Lubsen, I work as a concept developer in the Open Design Lab at Waag Society, the Netherlands (http://waag.org/nl/lab/open-design-lab). 
This year I completed the Fab Academy course in Fab Lab Amsterdam, and I aim to apply my learnings on sharing knowledge and design solutions in my current projects. Together with Deanna Herst I am developing a minor on Open Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.

Onderwerp: [OpenDesign] Introducing myself

I am a design practitioner, teacher and researcher (Uruguay-Brazil-Netherlands). After designing for the quick-developing industry of the south of Brazil, I got interested in DIY and later open design as alternative circuits of production and consumption of objects. Nowadays I live in the Netherlands and work as a teacher in industrial design for EUCD (Uruguay), as embedded researcher for VU University Amsterdam in Waag Society and teacher assistant in the Master in design studies ‘Design Cultures’, at VU University Amsterdam.
