Dear Open Design & Hardware friends,

I'm speaking at a seminar in Copenhagen in late August that focuses on
medical device hacking and open hardware/user driven innovation in the
medico/health-sector. Brief event description further below.

I wanted to ping this list to hear if anyone knows of relevant project or
cases studies for open hardware in the medicine/hospital/health sectors, or
any other relevant input on how open is having an impact in these fields.
Like, for instance, the Nightscout/CGM/#WeAreNoWaiting

movement.

Event pitch:
Users are playing an increasingly more important role in the development of
medical devices. Some users even take on the development themselves
disrupting innovation and development of medical device solutions. This is
a delicate situation, balancing on the razor sharp edge between potential
lethal risks and significant progress for the benefit of the users

Thanks,

Christian
