Hi all,

Like promised I'm now sending the meeting agenda for the developer
meeting next Thursday. The meeting starts like always at 14 GMT/UTC
(time zones below) and takes place on our irc channel, #openspending on
freenode.

# Meeting agenda

1. A concerted push on the "improved data load process"
    * As proposed by Rufus Pollock in a previous email
2. Role of core team vs. contributors
    * We've started accepting some contributors as members of the core team
    * We need to lay out the purpose and responsibilities of the core team
3. Code deprecation
    * Do we deprecate (and remove code)?
    * If so, when and under what circumstances?

# Results from last dev meeting

I thought I'd throw in some results from the previous dev meeting (which
was awesome).

* We decided to stop proxying content so we'll work on removing that
functionality and updating the navigation bar accordingly (sparking the
topic of item 3)
* We did a massive clean up of our issue tracker and we're now down to
just over 60 issues (we were at over 100). Thanks to Mark Brough for all
the help on the cleanup.

Mark suggested we should try to keep our issues under a specific number.
He suggested 30 or 50. That sounds like something we should strive for.
I say we first try to get them under 50 (not many left) and then set a
goal to get them under 30 (then we can have two victories with two
celebrations).

Anybody care to help? We updated our volunteer labels to "volunteer:
simple", "volunteer: medium" and "volunteer: hard" so you should be able
to find something interesting to work on.

# Meeting time in different time zones

* 3PM in London (UTC+1)
* 4PM in Berlin (UTC+2)
* 10AM in New York (UTC-4)
* 10AM in West Brazil (UTC-4)
* 11AM in East Brazil (UTC-3)

See you on Thursday!
