This is very interesting. Thanks for spending the time to explain it so
thoroughly. Have you looked at matching spending by region (for schools,
for example) with the aggregation of LA schools spending for that region
from the 2006-07 Spending Report. It's now on OpenlyLocal
(http://openlylocal.com/dataset_families/252). I haven't yet grouped by
Region, but I'm planning to in the future, and I'd be interested to see
if we can get the national and local figures to add up. I'm also seeing
the Dept of CLG, who oversee the Spending Report on Tuesday, so if they
don't can ask them about it (already planning on asking about timing for
2007-08 report).
