[wdmmg-discuss] WDMMG announce list?

Can we have it? With a nice prominent box on the site for people to
sign up? With (maybe monthly) mailings on new data, stories/anecdotes
from external experts, (substantial) new features, etc?

This list is great, but it would be good to have something for the
general user, the passer-by, etc.

What do people think? ;-)
