'It's time to get the ball rolling! We've been planning, discussing,
strategising... And now we need your help to start building!
Join us for the first ever workshop to build LinkedGov. As you already
know, LinkedGov is creating an online factory to collaboratively clean, link
and "decode" UK government data -- taking all the tasks involved, breaking
them down into little pieces, and distributing those pieces across anyone
and everyone. If we make it into a game (or a series of games), we can get
many people to do the work for us.
With any luck, a clean, usable, linked, machine-readable body of all
government data should fall out of this... Local government, central
government and NHS. Just think of what you could do with that!
LinkedGov is an open source project, and to be successful it desperately
needs your help. Our aim is to give you the bare minimum of information and
guidance (APIs, requirements) so you can get on with building a piece and
making it amazing.'
