Think you might all be interested in this quote from Sir Philip Green (he of Arcadia and Top Shop) in an efficiency review for the government:

'Sir Philip has uncovered “massive” amounts of unnecessary spending, according to one official, while his work has also revealed “the poor quality of data relating to where and how the government spends its money.”'
