[wdmmg-discuss] data on imports and exports?

is there a role a 'where-does-my-countries-money-go' to complement 
wdmmg - i.e. make it more transparent for individuals in a country to 
see what is exported, what is important and even suggest where there 
might be opportunities to start up new businesses within their 
countries?  Is such data available at a level of granularity that it 
might be useful?
