Hi All,

Thanks for bearing with me, the notes from last week's call on
Technology for Participatory Budgeting are now online!

To read the overview of what was discussed - please see this blog
post: http://blog.openspending.org/2012/03/06/participatory-budgeting-and-technology/

The full notes can be found on this wiki page (feel free to contribute
and amend accordingly!):

By way of followup, before the next call - I would be very grateful
for the list's input on 3 areas in particular:

* Categorisations - we tried to group the existing applications by
type to assess what type of activity they were most suited for and to
identify whether there were any trends, are the distinctions
meaningfu?l (http://wiki.openspending.org/Meetups/Participatory_Budgeting#Classification_of_PB_tools)
* User groups section of the census - based on feedback from the
meeting I added an additional column into the census and a tab for the
key to help us assess the target groups of each of the projects and
work out what things work for various sectors of society.

* Add to the agenda for the next call (below)

I feel it would be very useful to have a followup call as even though
we covered a lot on this call, we barely scratched the surface!

I would like to propose 5pm GMT this Thursday 8th March - if you can
make it. Please as before add your name and Skype details to the new
pad: http://wdmmg.okfnpad.org/pb2

Looking forward to speaking to you next time,

Lucy
