[OpenSpending] Finding documents

Johnny,

For some grants, the responsible Directorate General (DG) publishes additional information on their own websites, i.e. the calls for proposals and the overview of the organisations chosen/rejected. Some calls for proposals may have been published on the official journal of the EU.

For anything else, you might have to go through FOI requests to the European Commission.

Hi Johnny,

I'm looping in our mailing list, as others might be able to chip in with useful information.

The source: The Financial Transparency System <http://ec.europa.eu/budget/fts/index_en.htm> from which the data originates is published by the European Union.

As for the original document ID/number this is likely more tricky to locate. I don't know if additional information can be traced at national governments, for instance.

Does anyone else know where to locate additional information about grants in the EU Financial Transaprency System?

Best,
Anders

Hi there,

I'm a journalist using your fantastic site. I'm looking at EU grants given to a number of companies but was wondering if there's a way to see the original grant document or official source for the information?

Best,

Johnny
