[OpenSpending] Inquiry - good examples/ stories of expenditure tracking in public schools/ primary level

dear all,

am just following with great envy the OKF's fest-activities in Berlin.
unfortunately, due to other professional duties i can not join you this
year, though i am heavily monitoring the events and news online ...

besides, this mail is about an inquiry: i am hunting for interesting and
insightful local initiatives of public expenditure tracking in education,
primarily expenditure tracking in public elementary schools!!

i would be interested in any good example, pilot project, mini case study,
story, etc. at local level - in any country
