Howdy folks,

Just a heads up to those of you who are at OKFestival today, two important
notices!

1. We have a session coming up about how to push forward the state of
budget transparency:
http://okfestival2014.sched.org/event/5451434a7bb1a7668ea4c8d589c3872e -
@12 in room S3.
2. As it will be featured in the session above: My colleague Neil and I
will be around to talk with people in more detail about a proposed
specification for budget data
<https://github.com/openspending/budget-data-package>. While this is still
a draft, we have now had input from and worked closely with lots of key
organisations and individuals - who lead us to believe it is pretty
promising!

I can be reached on this email - or, more speedily on @lucyfedia on
twitter, if anyone would like to have a talk in more detail about the
specification. We will also be hosting a community call on the topic after
the dust settles from OKFestival, watch this space :)

Lucy
