[pd-discuss] Google patent filed & granted for doc access

Hi all,
Just came across this, and thought it might be of interest to folks here: looks like Google yesterday got their 2004 patent accepted for how they wish to be able to grant different access levels to books and magazines at the Google Books site based upon the geo-location of viewers. The patent filing URL is:
