First FOSTER E-learning courses online

The FOSTER consortium is happy to announce the release of our first set of e-learning courses<https://www.fosteropenscience.eu/courses> as part of  Open Access Week 2015<http://www.openaccessweek.org/> and now available on the FOSTER portal<https://www.fosteropenscience.eu/>:
The self-learning courses focus on the topics “Open Access in Horizon2020”, “Repository compatibility with Horizon2020” and “Open Science to Research”. The courses have been created by FOSTER partners and offer a variety of options to get to grips with each topic: short video presentations, background reading and self-assessment tests.

FOSTER, a project funded by the European Commission from 2014-2016, has been actively identifying and collecting online Open Science training resources and supporting a variety of training programs covering the entire academic ecosystem of stakeholders. These events have in turn added valuable materials to our collection of resources used in the e-learning courses.

Choose the course that suits your needs, or suggest them to your colleagues. Not sure if e-learning is the right method for you? The first two courses will be held as moderated courses in November: 16 to 20 of November for “Open Access in Horizon2020” and 23 to 27 of November for “Repository compatibility with Horizon2020”. Other courses are already being prepared and the next course to be released will focus on Open Data, and Research Data Management.
