nod, most of it is informally sorted out but it would be good to have
more reserve space, we'll probably need it. the 'add your personal
details to the wiki page' approach doesn't seem to be working out,
though, really for buyers or sellers of free sofa space.

in addition to focusing on interest groups - e.g. getting locals with
particular interests to host those sharing their interest - we
probably do need one contact person who can broker this and who can be
'call person X' if anyone gets stuck. i would rather not be that
person, if necessary, nor should you be saul. i suppose we could
manage a token remuneration to do this. so we *do* need a volunteer
housing coordinator. ideally before we ask for more help housing, to
have someone to point to.

is how many people have said they will help while filling in the
registration form. it's always nice to solve social problems with
software, i wonder how far carried away we can get allocating things
to people, i already want scanned copies of the building plan ;P

okay all this information and excitingness must clearly be included
more explicitly in any nagmail that we send to thousands of people.

i have to jump offline now, sorry, anyone is free to change the
reminder ;) otherwise i will help fix it tomorrow.
