Folks,

I am considering satellite Internet access for a project using home services 
like StarBand, and would like to learn about the antenna reflectors used by 
these systems.

Can anyone point me to information on the materials, coatings and design 
(shape) tolerances of the reflectors?  Would it be possible to fabricate the 
reflectors oneself?
